For the second year in a row, Michigan Tech will bring together leaders in healthcare from around the region to campus. Today and tomorrow Michigan Technological University will host the University’s Health Research Institute’s 2nd Annual Upper Peninsula Medical Conference. The two days will bring together leaders, experts, and medical professionals together to discuss topics centered around rural healthcare in the Upper Peninsula.

Today and tomorrow will each see various keynote speakers present on healthcare topics as they relate to rural communities. Some of the conference’s guest speakers include medical professors from Michigan State University, and Northwestern University, and leadership with local medical care providers.
