1st District House Candidate Draws Endorsement

U.S. House of Representatives candidate candidate Matt Morgan has been endorsed by the Upper Peninsula Michigan Building and Construction Trades Council. Morgan is the only Democrat currently competing for the opportunity to face Republican Jack Bergman in the November general election.

“I’m honored to be endorsed by the UP Building and Construction Trades Council,” Morgan said in a press release provided to KeweenawReport.com. “Skilled labor plays a central role in our economy, and it’s critical we carry the voices of our hard-working families to Washington D.C.”

Morgan is a retired Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel, who served two tours of duty in Iraq. He lives in Traverse City.
