Adopt A Highway Pickup Begins Tomorrow

The second Michigan Adopt-A-Highway trash pick-up period begins tomorrow, and runs through July 21st. Volunteers will canvass the shoulders of state and U.S. Highways in the Keweenaw, picking up litter. Motorists are encouraged to watch for them, and drive carefully to keep everyone safe. Youth Program Grants Awarded

The Youth Advisory Council of the Keweenaw Community Foundation has awarded $33,650 to 12 local organizations.
