On this week’s Copper Country Today, Grant Dossetto spoke with Northern Michigan University historian Russell Magnaghi about the historical contributions of French Canadians in the Upper Peninsula.

He was also joined by John Griffith of Keweenaw Natural Areas to talk about the group’s attempt to purchase land on the Gratiot River between Conglomerate Falls and Lake Superior.
