Copper Shores Bridges Out of Poverty will launch the program in Ontonagon after the start of the new year. In 2025 Copper Shores Community Health Foundation will introduce its Bridges Out of Poverty program to residents in Ontonagon County. The Bridges out of Poverty program works with people to educate participants about instability and economic class. The Bridges program discusses the causes of generational poverty, and why using common financial language is important.
The program signature course Getting Ahead, is a 17-week class, offering opportunities for individuals to grow their social capital and set personal goals. Those interested in participating in the Ontonagon Count Bridges out of poverty program with the Copper Shores Community Health Foundation will need to register for the course before November 22nd.
