The Flivvers remained undefeated  with a narrow 13-12 win at previously unbeaten Menominee last Friday. The Maroons slip back to number-two in the poll, followed by Marquette, Negaunee and Iron Mountain.

Forest Park continues to lead the eight-player voting. The unbeaten Trojans maintained a narrow lead over unbeaten Pickford. North Central, Norway and Ishpeming round out the top-five.

NFL

There were two NFL games last night…

  • The Ravens outscored the Buccaneers 41-31.
  • Chad Ryland’s field goal as time expired gave the Cardinals a 17-15 win over the Chargers.

If you played The Wolf Pro Football Challenge, you must have selected at least 13 games correctly to be eligible to become our weekly winner.

The Lions will apparently be without receiver Jameson Williams for the next two games. There are reports that he’ll be suspended by the league for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy. There’s no word as to what the specific infraction involved.

Detroit running back David Montgomery should be good to go for Sunday’s game against the Titans. He limped off the field last Sunday, after suffering a bruise near his knee. He returned a series later, but struggled the rest of the day.
