Huskies love to play in the snow. Winter will return soon to the copper country, and with it the 2025 winter carnival at Michigan Tech. The University’s long-standing tradition to celebrate living in a winter wonderland will come to campus in February. However, the Blue Key Honor Society has already made some major announcements. Earlier in the year the student organization announced the upcoming carnival theme will hark back to the ages, with Dragons, Knights, and Legendary Sights.
Over the weekend Winter Carnival shared the new logo for 2025. It features a green dragon on top of the R.L. Smith Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics Building, breathing fire, taking the shape of the Upper Peninsula. The design comes from the creative mind of Alexa Hooganboom.
