Michigan Technological University recognizes faculty achievements. On Wednesday the university held its annual faculty award ceremony. The awards recognize various achievements made by professors and faculty on campus.
University Professor awards were earned by Yun Hang Hu, Gregory Odegard, and Kathy Halvorsen.
2024 distinguished professor recipients included Simon Carn, Adrienne Minerick, Qiuying Sha, and Zhanping You.
Other awards given out on Wednesday included the 2024 Michigan Tech Research Award, the Diversity Award, the 2024 Faculty Distinguished Service Award, the Bhakta Rath Research Award, and the Distinguished Teach Award.
