MLB

The Tigers’ six-game winning streak ended with a 4-0 loss to the White Sox Saturday. Detroit collected just three hits. Jackson Jobe threw three hitless shutout innings of relief.

The regular season ends this afternoon, as the Tigers entertain the White Sox again. Detroit has not named a starter. Jonathan Cannon will start for Chicago. A Tigers win this afternoon would secure the fifth seed in the upcoming playoffs.

Six Milwaukee pitchers held the Mets to just two hits, as the Brewers cruised to a 6-0 victory over the Mets Saturday. Jackson Chourio and Willy Adames each had two hits.

The Brewers conclude their regular season in New York today. Colin Rae will pitch against David Peterson.

That collision between Milwaukee outfielder Sal Frelick and an unpadded section of the Mets’ outfield wall Friday left him with a significant bone bruise, but no other structural damage. He’s out indefinitely.

NHL

The Red Wings’ exhibition game against the Penguins was called off last night because of travel issues in Pittsburgh. That game will be made up as part of a split squad twin bill tomorrow. Half the Wings will host the Penguins, and the other half will play Detroit’s scheduled game at Buffalo. Listen for regular-season Wings games on 99.3 The Lift.

NFL

The Packers host the Vikings in a 1:00 game today. Quarterback Jordan Love and cornerback Jaire Alexander are both listed as questionable for the contest.

The Lions entertain the Seahawks tomorrow night on 99.3 The Lift. Detroit center Frank Ragnow has been ruled out for the game with a torn pectoral muscle. Tight end Sam LaPorta and safety Brian Branch have been removed from the injury list, and should be ready to play.
