Gogebic Community College receives funds supporting the EMS education program

Gogebic Community College earns a 70,000 dollars award to cover tuition and book costs from the Michigan Center for Rural Health. The Superior Health Foundation announced this week that it will also award the community college another 25000 dollars to support emergency medical service Education. The one-year grant will cover tuition and books for students enrolled in the Gogebic Community College’s EMS classes. The funds also provide support for EMS providers who want to learn how to become instructor coordinators and teach in the EMS program. This financial support greatly helps students says Director for Allied Health Nicole Rowe. The 2024 cohort has full enrollment.
