WUPPDR Begins Gathering Ideas and Information from Keweenaw County for the 2025-29 Recreation Plan

The Western Upper Peninsula Planning and Development Region works throughout the Copper Country to better understand community desires. Recently WUPPDR has released a recreation survey for residents of Keweenaw County to understand the area’s needs and desires for the county recreation plan. The survey will collect vital data and information from Keweenaw County residents and the public about the types of recreation opportunities and sites the community would like to see developed, maintained, and improved. The Keweenaw County recreation plan will guide decisions for the area from 2025 to 2029. Anyone interested in participating in the WUPPDR Keweenaw County Recreation Plan Survey can find a copy online or complete a paper version. WUPPDR requests all surveys submitted by October 11th. Anyone interested in learning more about the Keweenaw Country Recreation Plan survey can find a link to the online survey below.
