IR Telemetrics Sent Through to the Next Round of the Coolest Thing Made in Michigan Award

A Hancock business was recently named a top ten finalist in the 2024 Coolest Thing Made in Michigan People’s Choice Award. IR Telemetrics was recently named one of the ten finalists for the 2024 award in the MMA’s Manufacturing Excellence Awards. IR Telemetrics produces a custom-made wireless system in the Upper Peninsula with its patented measurement system designed for pistons, gears, and shafts. Engineers receive back data that records a machine’s temperature, pressure, strain, and more. The company’s technology has been used around the United States and the globe. IR Telemetrics was founded in 1991 and has become a worldwide leader in wireless data transfer for reciprocating and rotating components. The company will now move into the second round of voting in the Michigan Manufacturers Association’s Manufacturing Excellence Award program for the 2024 Coolest Thing Made in Michigan Award.
