Copper Country Business Leaders Enjoy a Day of Golf and Networking with the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce

Blue skies, a slight breeze, and plenty of friends to share the golf course with. Today the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce hosted its 26th annual golf outing. The event acts as a way for the chamber to fund raise money supporting ribbon cutting, grand opening, speaker presentations, and more throughout the year. It also offers a great opportunity for local business leaders, non-profit directors, and municipal employees a chance to network in the region and catch up on other activities with industries in the Keweenaw Peninsula.

This event takes a lot to put together. We couldn’t be more thankful to our presenting sponsors. We have our hole-in-one sponsors, Copper Country Ford. We have Turbo Agency with the $10,000 hole-in-one. We have Keweenaw Chevrolet Buick GMC coming in. We have the hospitals coming in. It’s just overall good community support, and without their support, we couldn’t have put on events like this and be able to put back into our community and our events that we put on for our members. – Katie Schleif, Chamber Manager, Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce

The 26th annual golf outing included more than 40 teams for the four-person scramble. Attendees enjoyed a relaxing day of golf, networking with area leaders, and a chance at some great prizes and raffles from the Golf Outing Sponsors. Those who missed out on the golf outing, or are interested in learning more about becoming a member of the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce can find more information here.
