Parade of Nations will Introduce a New Parade Route Starting on Campus in 2024

A brand new school year approaches. And so does a brand new parade of nations. The 2024 Parade of Nations will take a new route this year. The dazzling parade floats and cultural regalia will gather between the university administration building and Rozsa Center before beginning the route through campus. Guided through the alumni archway the crowd of students and community members will march toward downtown Houghton. Then turn right at the Ambassador to Lakeshore Drive. Then head toward the Dee Stadium for the International Food Festival.

To help the festival’s organizers corral the students and floats, as well as help with the festival’s activities at Dee Stadium Parade of Nations calls on the Copper Country’s community of volunteers. Volunteers will help with passing out parade banners, checking in participants, and organizing lines at the international food festival. Those interested in learning more about volunteering with the Parade of Nations can find more details, here, including information about participating in the parade.
