A Copper Country forestry company will merge with Grossman Forestry Company after acquiring the Newberry forester. Yesterday Green Timber Consulting Foresters announced a merger will occur between the company and Grossman Forestry Company after signing a memorandum of understanding to combine the companies interests through an official sale anticipated to close at the start of 2025.
Grossman Forestry has serviced landowners in the Eastern region of the Upper Peninsula and northern Lower Peninsula since 1991. Green timber has worked in forests in the western Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin since starting in 2001. After combining the company land holdings the company will manage over 550,000 acres of forest across the Upper Peninsula, Northern Wisconsin, and Michigan’s northern Lower Peninsula.
President of Green Timber Justin Miller says the foresters are excited to combine their efforts and team expertise to expand the two companies’ land management opportunities through a broad network of offices in the region. Existing clients will maintain current accounts with current account managers. Find out more about the merger between the two foresters here.
