The Rozsa Center for Performing Arts announces the 2024 presenting series schedule. Throughout the years the Rozsa Center has brought to the Copper Country several incredible performances, laugh-out-loud shows, roaring concerts, and diverse keynote addresses. In 2024 and 2025 the theater will continue that streak with the presenting series including eight events.
The first presenting series event will take place at the start of September with the Rozsa Soiree featuring Gina Chavez. The kickoff event of the season will include a silent auction, voting for 2024/25concessions features, and an exclusive backstage concert with Chavez. Later in the month campus will have special guest Sharon McMahon, the 2024 Van Evera Distinguished Lecture Series Speaker.
Just before the Christmas holiday, the Rozsa Center will feature the Holiday Nostalgia Night with a joyful celebration for all ages. The evening will include a family-friendly film screening, complete with music, trivia, and holiday drinks.
As students return to the books in the spring they’ll have to take a break in February for Winter Carnival. And the Water Street Dance Milwaukee show that was recently named one of Dance magazine’s 25 to watch. And last, Zarna Garg will visit the Rozsa Center to fill the theater full of laughs with her quick wit and fearless social commentary. Garg has opened on tour with comedians Amy Pohler and Tina Fey.
