IR Telemetrics Nominated for a Coolest Thing Made in Michigan People’s Choice Award

A Hancock business has been nominated for the 2024 Coolest Thing Made in Michigan People Choice Award in 2024. The IR Telemetrics Inc., based in Hancock, has been nominated for a people’s choice award for the Coolest Thing Made in Michigan through the Michigan Manufacturers Association and sponsored by Endeavor IT. The Coolest Thing Made in Michigan award is a part of the MMA Manufacturing Excellence Awards program that celebrates manufacturer contributions to the state’s economy and local communities. IR Telemetrics produces wireless systems, custom-made for each project. A patented measurement system designed and created by IR Telemetrics engineers and technicians can be placed on pistons, gears, and shafts inside working engines. IR telemetrics’s wireless systems have been used on projects worldwide. There are two rounds of voting for the people’s choice award, round one will begin August 19th. Round two, which will cut the field down to the top 10 candidates, opens in September.
