Detroit’s famous Woodward Dream cruise doesn’t have roads as open as this weekend.
Tomorrow hotrodders, classic car tinkerers, and examples of American muscle will travel the winding road of US 41. The End of the Road Car Show bring many of the Upper Peninsula’s best-looking cars out to drive along the beautiful stretch of highway. Cruisers will relive the glory days, starting at the Calumet High School parking lot before following the pack to Copper Harbor. As vehicles arrive in town and park, visitors will have an opportunity to talk with passionate home mechanics. The End of the Road Car Show includes a best-in-show contest for several categories, and awards cash prizes to winners.
In 2024 the car show plans to work with the Keweenaw Random Acts of Kindness to help the group celebrate 20 years. K-RACK works throughout the region all year to help assist people in need. The cars will begin staging in Calumet at noon, with the show in Copper Harbor starting at 1 pm.
