Brian R. Isaacson, 77, of Fulton Location, Mohawk, passed away on June 21, 2024 at the Omega House in Houghton.
Brian was born on August 8, 1946 in Laurium, son of Carl and Leone Isaacson.
He was a graduate of Calumet High School, Michigan Technological University, and was a veteran having served with the U.S. Marine Corp.
He was united in marriage to Carol Taivalkoski on October 21, 1972.
Brian began employment with Republic Steel Corp of Cleveland, Ohio, and retired from the State of Michigan Family Independence Agency.
Preceding him in death were his parents. Surviving are his wife Carol, a daughter Teri (Thomas) Haataja of Watertown, MN, sons Mark (JoLinda) Isaacson of Hancock, Kurt of Chanhassen, MN, and Scott of Madison, WI; grandchildren Andrea (Trevor) Haverinen, Brita Haataja, Allison (Andrew) Anderson, Aric, Nels and Nicole Haataja; Matthew, Brendan, Caleb, Tyler, Josie, Mia and Anders Isaacson.
Funeral services will be held at the Fulton Apostolic Lutheran Church on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 at 12:00 pm with Mark Halonen officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at the church. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek.
