BHK’s little blue VW bug looked great in the Bridgefest Parade last Friday. Outfitted with great decorations and a banner celebrating the organization’s 50th anniversary.
Baraga Houghton Keweenaw Child Development will celebrate with the community next week and has even extended its deadline for individuals interested in joining them for the evening. BHK Child Development centers around the Copper Country have impacted many lives in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Through a wide variety of programs opportunities and commitment to working with low-income families to provide childcare services.
The BHK 50th anniversary celebration next Thursday will take place at the bonfire in Houghton. Tickets cost 35 dollars for individuals. During the event, the organization will host a special silent auction. Funds raised during the event will support the BHF Foundation which awards scholarships to local students.
