Trajan Langdon has apparently tapped an old teammate for a front-office role in the effort to rebuild the Pistons. There are reports the J.R. Holden will join the staff. Holden is currently the Nets’ director of player personnel. There’s no word as to what position he’ll fill in Detroit, but the general manager’s job is vacant, after Troy Weaver was fired. Langdon and Holden played together for CSKA Moscow, a Russian professional basketball team that competes in the Euroleague.
