Land Trust Accreditation Commission Executive Director Melissa Kalvestrand says the commission proudly recognizes Keweenaw Land Trust’s continued commitment to conservation excellence as one of 450 organizations united by accredited status. KLT Executive Director Patricia Toczydlowski adds that the Keweenaw Land Trust’s recognition as an accredited land trust organization lends credibility to the goals and missions of the local group. Confirming that volunteers, members, and leadership are working to properly conserve lands for the larger community.
