Over 60 kids discover what 4-H clubs do during the Houghton Keweenaw counties 4-H Spring Discovery event. Recently Houghton and Keweenaw County 4 – h held the annual spring discovery event at The Mineshaft. The free event encourages local youth to learn about and get involved in agricultural activities through a wide range of workshop opportunities like natural resources and science, creative living skills, agriculture, healthy living skills, career and team building, and more. 4 h Spring discovery works with youth to explore interests while enhancing skills in communication, teamwork, leadership, and citizenship.
