Parents Invited to a Roundtable Discussion during the Parent Cafe

Becoming an incredible parent takes a lot of work and knowledge. And most of the best advice comes from other parents and peers. Tomorrow evening the Copper Country Intermediate School District and the Portage Lake District Library will invite parents at all stages to meet at the library for a parent café. The event offers a unique opportunity for parents to come together to share tips, and information about their parenting journey, while also picking up on new information from fellow parents. During the Parent Café attendees can enjoy some light refreshments, and some free childcare for the duration of the parent café. Those in need of childcare during the event are asked to please register online so the Portage Lake District Library can organize a large enough children’s space. The Growing Healthy Habits: Parent Café will start at 5:30 pm tomorrow at the Portage Lake District library.
