Michigan Technological University announces the institution’s new Dean of the College of Forest Resources and Environmental Sciences. David Flaspohler has been selected by the university to lead the College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science. Flaspohler was selected after a months-long national search says Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs Andrew Storer, who also thanked the search committee for their excellent work to identify Flaspohler qualities that will benefit the college. Flaspholer teaches within the college and has held the title of interim Dean since 2022. He began teaching at the university in 1998. Flaspohler holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Wildlife Ecology and a Master of Science in Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development from the University of Wisconsin.
