Kathleen Jennings (Hirsch), 74 of Lake Linden, found peace at home while surrounded by family on Saturday March 30th after a long, hard-fought illness. Kathleen was born on March 20th, 1950 in Laurium to Kathleen Fischer and Charles Hirsch. She attended school in Laurium and received a degree from Soumi College. In addition to raising a family, she ran Sportsman’s Pride Taxidermy in Buttzville, NJ with husband Gerald and later, Sportsmans Haven on Rice Lake in Lake Linden, MI. Kathleen enjoyed fishing, spending time on the lake and other outdoor sports with her husband, as well as knitting, cooking and spending time with the family. Kathleen was preceded in death by sons, Gerald and Jeremy Jennings and Erik Sak, sisters Polly and Mary, Aunts Frances Eastley and Rita Hirsch of Laurium, grandson Urban Chartier, her mother, father, and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives. Kathleen is survived by husband Jerry, sons Kyle (Tracey) Sak of Belvidere, NJ., Dwayne (Holly) Jennings of Hortonville, WI., daughter Rebecca (Stephen) Chartier of Grandview, MO., grandchildren Corrado, Ryan, Ashlynn, Gabrielle, Lillian, Emma and Hannah. Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family in arranging private services. She will be greatly missed. Love is eternal.
