Norman F. Harju, 90, a resident of Tamarack Location passed away on March 12, 2024 at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium.
He was born on May 23, 1933 in Fulton a son of the late Edwin and Martha (Hakasaari) Harju.
Norman attended Calumet High School and late Suomi College, graduating in 1971.
He worked a variety of jobs at C&H until its closing. He then went on to work for the State of Michigan until his retirement.
On July 30, 1994 he was united in marriage to Rose Chopp.
Preceding him in death was his son Mark, former wife Sharon Guy Kangas, the mother of his children, and also six brothers and one sister.

Sons: Dennis Harju, Brian Harju and Kevin (Leann) Harju
Daughters: Shari (Bob) Waldron and Chris (Rich) Schowengerdt.

Private funeral services were held in the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek.
