Houghton Portage Township School will gather the community for a final community input session tonight. The school district has been working over the past month to develop ideas for its use of space to improve the education of students in Houghton. The first session over-viewed the district’s recent growth over the past decade. The second generated various potential ideas for the district to look into. Tonight’s session will wrap up the community input as well as begin discussing what the district will consider for future projects, programs, or ways of improving student education. Since the second session, the district published a survey to further gather public input. Which will be used for tonight’s discussion. The final community meeting for improving the education future for all gremlins will begin at 6 pm inside the High School Library.
