Michigan Tech Students and Faculty Receive Over $70,000 for Fellowship and Grant Funds with the Michigan Space Grant Consortium

Students and Faculty at Michigan Tech were recently awarded more than 70,000 dollars in fellowship and grant funds by the Michigan Space Grant Consortium for 2024 and 25. The MSGC, sponsored by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, promotes awareness, research, and education in space-related science and technology in Michigan. The goal of the organization fund fellowship and grant opportunities for students pursuing STEM fields, but also financially support faculty development.

Michigan Tech undergraduate students Grace Hoeppner, and Grace Murrey will receive 4,000 dollars for the Faculty Led fellowships.

Graduate students will receive 5,000 dollars as a part of the Graduate fellowships.

Last Michigan Tech’s Paul Van Susante will receive 500 dollars for the Hands on Nasa oriented Experience for Student groups.

In total students and faculty of the university will receive 71,728 dollars for the Michigan Space Grant Consortium 2024 – 25 cycle.
