Copper Shores Community Health Foundation Opens Access to Small Grant Opportunities

Even a small difference can have the biggest impact. Copper Shores Community Health Foundation will begin accepting requests for proposals for small grant rewards. In 2023 the foundation supported six organizations with grants up to 2,500 dollars.

Those funds supported projects that built the new Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter Home’s website, purchased playground equipment for Bridging Gaps Childcare, and supported kitchen upgrades with Homebound Seniors in Baraga County.

In 2024 the Copper Shores will support small grant requests with 15,000 dollars of funds, limiting requests to a maximum of 2,500 dollars. Granted funds intend to support enhanced access to services programs or activities that would not otherwise be possible in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties. Requests for proposals for the Small Grants program are due by April 3rd.
