Obituary: Carter Wesley Gordon Curtis

As received from the Jacobson Funeral Home: 

Carter Wesley Gordon Curtis, 19 months old, died on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at Milwaukee Children’s Hospital. 

Carter is the son of Taylor Curtis and Eugene Rantanen.  He was a very happy baby, loved everyone, and enjoyed showing off for people and making them laugh. He loved his big brother and sister. 

Surviving are his mother Taylor Curtis of Baraga; father Eugene Rantanen of L’Anse; siblings, Noah and Autumn Pinet of L’Anse; maternal grandparents, Helene (Dan Pesonen) Curtis of Zeba; Mark Beck of Baraga; Janice Lister of Harvey; and great grandmother Barbara Knipp of Zeba; and numerous family members.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 7th, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the Zeba Hall.  The funeral ceremony will be at 3:00 p.m. along with a feast at the Zeba Hall.  The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
