MLB – Price Dominates Royals
David Price tossed a complete-game five-hitter, as the Detroit Tigers shaded the Kansas City Royals 2-1 Saturday. Price just missed throwing a shutout, when Lorenzo Cain homered with two outs in the ninth. The Detroit offense was quiet once again, producing just seven hits. Rajai Davis scored on an error in the third inning, and Ian Kinsler singled in a run in the fifth.

The win puts Detroit a half-game behind the Royals in the American League Central Division.

The Tigers wrap up that series at Kansas City this afternoon. Anibal Sanchez will start against Jeremy Guthrie. Hear the first pitch at 2:10 on AM 1400 and FM 99.3 WCCY.

The Brewers conclude that set against the Cubs in Chicago this afternoon. Jimmy Nelson will pitch against Jason Hammel.
