Baraga County Road Commissioner Doug Mills Awarded Rural Engineer of the Year Award

Baraga County’s Road Commissioner has received the Rural Engineer of the Year award from the State County Road Association. Recently the County Road Association of Michigan Engineering Committee presented its 2023 Engineering Awards on Wednesday. Baraga County Road Commissioner was presented with the Rural Engineer of the Year Award. Mills has served Barga County since 1993. He has also served on numerous County Road Association committees and as a board member since 2004.

Saginaw County Road Commissioner Tim Brown also received an award from the CRA for Project Manager of the Year during Wednesday’s workshop. The annual Count Road Association of Michigan Engineering Awards recognize County road agency engineers for their outstanding work in rural and urban areas of the state.
