UPDATE: A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Friday February 16, 2024 at the Siskiwit Reception Hall 26070 Pine Street Calumet, MI from 4-6 PM
Paul Lehto, age 85, a resident of Calumet, Michigan passed away on February 1, 2024, at the Omega House located in Houghton, Michigan.
Paul was born in Wolverine Location November 28th, 1938.
He attended Wolverine, Centennial and Calumet High School and graduated in 1957.
Paul served 6 years in the US Army Reserves and received an Honorable Discharge from the Army in 1964.
Paul worked for various employers including 9 years for Calumet and Hecla Mining Company.
Paul served as Calumet Township Supervisor from November 20, 1972 to September 13, 2019.
Preceding Paul in death were his parents, Sigrid and Arthur, sister Sarah and brothers John and Wayne
Private Burial Services will take place at a future date.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy donation may be made in memory of Paul to the Copper County Humane Society.
The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
