NHL

The Red Wings are off until Wednesday, when they entertain the Senators. Coverage will begin at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift.

NBA

Jalen Duren sparkled, as the Pistons earned a rare 120-104 victory over the Thunder yesterday afternoon. Duren scored 22 points, grabbed 21 rebounds, and dished out six assists. Detroit played without Cade Cunningham, who was rested as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

The Pistons visit the Cavaliers Wednesday evening.

NFL

The Super Bowl teams are set, and they do not include the Lions.

In last night’s NFC title game, Detroit built a 17-point halftime lead, only to see the 49ers surge from behind to claim a 34-31 victory. In the second half, San Francisco scored 24 consecutive points to take command. Detroit narrowed the gap with a touchdown in the final minute. They then appeared to have recovered an onside kick, but a penalty awarded the ball to the 49ers, who ran out the clock.

The Chiefs outscored the Ravens 17-10 in the AFC championship contest.

The Chiefs and 49ers will play in the Super Bowl, February 11th in Las Vegas. with the broadcast on 99.3 The Lift.

MLB

The Tigers have locked in their top minor league prospect with a big contract. Colt Keith hasn’t yet played a game in the majors, but has been signed to a six-year, $28.6 million dollar deal. Additional team options and incentive clauses could push the value of the contract to $82 million over nine years. Keith is expected to take over at second base this season.
