Michigan Tech’s Institute of Computing and Cyber Systems will seek local art to add to this year’s Art in Silico Exhibit. The 2nd annual Art in Silico is a computational art exhibition and series that examines the world of creative computation and the crossroads of art and technology. Organizers seek art examples from residents in Houghton, the upper peninsula, and beyond that express the convergence of technology with our everyday lives. The Art in Silico exhibit will display art from April 4 until May 6th. The art may also be auctioned to help support student scholarships and the Copper Country Community Arts Center after the exhibit closes. Artists interested in submitting artwork to the Art in Silico exhibit will need to complete a submission form by March 6th.
