Debbie Paver’s Art Selected as the Poster for National Sauna Week

A Calumet local’s art will feature for the Finlandia Foundation’s third National Sauna Week. Yesterday Finlandia Foundation announced that it has chosen Debbie Paver’s artwork to feature as the winning entry to the celebration’s inaugural poster competition. Paver’s artwork features many soft blues, centered by a right orange sauna. Paver says that she hoped to capture the relaxation saunas provide to those seeking warmth from the cold. In 2022 the foundation introduced National Sauna Week to bring awareness to the Finnish tradition, including online programming. Learn more about National Sauna Week here.
