UPDATE: Competition Postponed to February – Hancock VRC Tournament Seeks Volunteers for Saturday

UPDATE: The Hancock robotics competition originally scheduled for Saturday January 13th, has been postponed. The tournament will now take place on February 3rd.

Throughout the year some students in copper country schools participate in robotics programs. These teams throughout the years have earned a top place at various tournaments locally, in the Upper Peninsula, and at  state competitions. This weekend Hancock High School will host a local robotics tournament. Tournament organizers are still seeking a handful of volunteers for the competition on Saturday. Seeking community members to volunteer as a tournament manager, event Emcee, or to help with field set up. The tournament will begin at 10 am, and run for about four hours. Anyone with questions about the tournament or volunteering should contact the tournament organizer and Barkell Elementary STEM Teacher, Genevieve Nordmark.
