L’Anse Approves Liquor Sale for Upcoming Hockey Tourney

At a brief meeting Monday evening, the L’Anse village council approved the sale of alcoholic beverages at the upcoming Winter Classic Old-Timer’s Hockey Tournament.

The L’Anse Winter Classic Old-Timer’s Hockey Tournament will be held February 17th and 18th at Meadowbrook Arena. It’s organized by the Baraga County Next Gen Team and the L’Anse Oldtimers. Last year, it raised $5,000 to help maintain and operate the Meadowbrook and Baraga ice rinks.
