Houghton County Sheriff Responds to Domestic Disturbance Involving a Firearm

The Houghton County sheriff has arrested one man following a domestic disturbance involving a firearm. The Houghton County sheriff was called to a domestic disturbance in Tamarack City at 5 am Wednesday. After an initial investigation, the sheriff’s deputies arrested a 69-year-old Tamarack City man. He has been lodged in the Houghton County jail. A 47-year-old Tamarack City female victim did receive medical treatment for minor injuries. No other details have been released at this time. The sheriff’s department’s investigation continues.
