Copper Country Ski Tiger Registration Ends Tomorrow

Around the Copper Country, many residents have kept up hobbies like cross-country skiing because of the physical exercise and social atmosphere on the trails. Some of the residents were even taught about the sport from an early age. The Copper Country Ski Tigers keep up that community tradition, and each year get youth out on the trails to learn about cross-country skiing, participate in competitions, and develop a lifelong hobby.

“We have a youth program that involves about 100 kids. Then we have an Adventure team, a Competition team, and a Development team. The Adventure team is new, it’s kind of less competitive. So it gives kids a chance to hang out, ski, and have fun, and be in the woods. And then we, gosh, have about 30 or so parent coaches.” – Erin Syth, Vice President, Copper Country Ski Tigers

The Copper Country ski tigers will continue to grow this year too. Registration for the upcoming season with the group of volunteer cross-country ski enthusiasts ends tomorrow. Kids and parents interested in learning more about the Copper Country Ski Tiger registration and various programs available to youth in the area can find more information here. The youth program costs 40 dollars per child, more involved programs have a higher cost. Find links below.
