The Red Wings visit the Stars tonight. Because of NFL football, coverage will begin at 7:45 on KBear 102.3.

The Pistons host the Pacers this evening.

NFL

The Lions’ freefall continued with a 28-13 loss to the Bears yesterday. Jared Goff threw a touchdown pass, but was also intercepted twice, and sacked four times. Chicago’s Justin Fields threw for one score, and ran for another. The Bears’ defense shut out Detroit in the second half.

In last night’s contest, the Cowboys routed the Eagles 33-13. 

There are two games tonight. The Packers face the Giants in New York. Cornerback Jaire Alexander has been ruled out for tonight’s contest. The Dolphins host the Titans in a game that will be broadcast on 99.3 The Lift.

MLB

Reliever Andrew Chafin is returning to the Tigers. Chafin was a pillar of the Detroit bullpen in the 2022 season. He struggled last year, while splitting time between the Diamondbacks and the Brewers. The new deal is reported to be worth $4.5 million for 2024, with a club option for 2025.
