With inflation high and tough times ahead for some, the Baraga Chamber of Commerce wants to help residents understand unemployment insurance and benefits. Next week the Baraga Chamber of Commerce will host a UIA Pop Up session. At the event, Michigan UIA staff will be onsite to help answer resident questions and provide one-on-one help. To help UIA staff quickly help each individual, persons planning to attend the sessions are asked to bring their Michigan driver’s license or state ID card along with their social security card birth certificate, or passport. The pop-up session will take place next Wednesday, December 12th, from 10 am to 3 pm at 1 North Main Street in L’Anse, MI.
