Swedetown Trails Club will cancel the annual season opener race. Originally scheduled for last Saturday the annual season opening cross country ski race with the Swedetown Trails Club, it was cancelled for a lack snow on the trails. Unfortunately the club’s luck did not turn in the past few days, and will again cancel the race. But will not reschedule. Leadership with the club says that due to other cross country ski events taking place in the region later this month, they would not want to wait for the snow and conflict with other events. Adding that the club will turn its sights toward the Great Bear Chase in March.
