There’s not a lot of snow on the ground in Detroit. So the Detroit Youth Choir will just have to travel north to get into the Christmas spirit. Tomorrow evening the Detroit Youth Choir will travel to the Rozsa Center in Houghton to perform the captivating Holiday concert Jingle Bell Pop. Rozsa Director Mary Jennings says that the performance will include a miss of popular holiday and signature music from the group, adding that the show’s joyful and energizing feeling will get the area in the mood for the holiday season. Some in the area may know of the Detroit Youth Choir as the non-profit that captivated hearts as the runner-up on America’s Got Talent season 14. The choir will appear as the subject of two Disney+ shows and also participate in an IMAX documentary titled America’s Musical Journey. Tickets are valued at 25 dollars a seat. The Detroit Outh Choir’s performance of Jingle Bell Pop will begin at 7:30 pm tomorrow.
