Showcase AI Will Explore Topics within Artificial Intelligence During Various Keynote and Panel Sessions

Michigan Tech University’s Showcase AI plans to dive deep into the subject. During the three-day conference attendees will hear from keynote speakers, and participate in panel discussions focused on the fast-developing world surrounding artificial intelligence. Several speakers expected to join the showcase are heavily involved in the study and development of artificial intelligence. And have influenced conversations on the topic.

“Yes. We have several invited speakers for this event, people coming from around the world. One Keynote is going to be given by Tom Kelley, who is the CEO of Automation Alley. And then we have two keynotes from government funding agencies that are going to be visiting. So we have Bill Spotz from the Department of Energy. And then Jennifer Weller, who is a National Science Foundation program officer. So that’s going to be a really exciting glimpse into what the federal government’s interests are with research into artificial intelligence.” – Tim Havens, Director, Institute of Computing and Cybersystems

Showcase AI on Michigan Tech University’s campus will begin on October 4th, and run until the 6th. The three-day showcase highlighting student and faculty work will start with an award ceremony on Wednesday evening, followed by the showcase’s first-panel discussion titled AI in Academia and Industry.
