Covington Man Sentenced for Chassell Crash That Killed Two Women

A Covington man has been sentenced for the November 2022 Chassell crash that killed two women. Ryan Orzechowicz, 35 of Covington, was sentenced by the 12th circuit court to serve a minimum of 84 month to 15 years for operating a vehicle while intoxicated resulting in a death. In June Orzechowicz plead no contest as a part of a plea deal,  that dropped two counts of reckless driving. He has been credited with 100 days served in jail. He will additionally pay victim restitution to pay for funeral costs.
