CLK Schools to Release Early on Opening Day

The CLK School District has changed its schedule for opening day, Tuesday, September 5th.

Superintendent Christopher Davidson announced Monday evening that all students will be released at noon on Tuesday. Previously, only elementary students had been scheduled for a half-day.

Davidson explained that the decision was made because of the extraordinarily hot weather. CLK classrooms are not air conditioned.

Schools will operate on their usual half-day schedules.
