Pasty Fest encourages the community to get out for a great Saturday afternoon. The festival gets everyone attending involved in one way or another. Whether that means attending any of the exciting pasty Olympic competition, voting in the pasty fest art prize, or getting the calumet early to line up to purchase a pasty voter’s kit.
“Whoever wins, they certainly deserve that trophy. We want that trophy to be prominently displayed in their shop for the year. But, boy, it’s close. They could have loss to one of our other great competitors by two toothpick, three toothpicks.” – Leah Polzin, Executive Director, Main Street Calumet
Organizers for pasty fest are expecting plenty of fun. With music, the car show, plenty of games and good times, families will sure have great time. Organizers additionally are seeking some extra volunteers to help with clean up after pasty fest, please contact Leah Polzin for inquiries.
