Hancock Man Arrested for Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

Michigan State Police have charged a Hancock man with multiple counts of possessing child sexual abuse material. Dominic Joseph Barrette was arrested following an investigation that started when law enforcement learned Barrette had been viewing child sexual abuse material online.

A search of his residence allowed officers to seize digital evidence.

Barrette has been charged with nine counts of aggravated possession of child sexual abusive material. One count of possession of sexual abusive material. And has been charged with ten counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
